Now that you have all the questions with you prepared you can start preparing for answers and again we are going to use ChatGPT for that. Let's start with first behavioural question and ask GPT to give response, remember since you have shared your resume with CHATGPT they should be able to build that first draft and then you can make edits to it or use as is.
Question 1 : Can you share a time when you exceeded a client’s expectations? What actions did you take to achieve this?
Response I received from ChatGPT which I will use as first draft:
"At TikTok Singapore, I managed a campaign for Indonesia Tourism, where the goal was to boost awareness and engagement across APAC markets during a key travel season. The client had ambitious KPIs and was unsure if TikTok would resonate with their target demographic.
To address this, I collaborated closely with the creative team to develop culturally relevant content tailored to different APAC regions. Using TikTok’s advanced targeting tools, I optimized the campaign daily based on real-time analytics. Midway through, I noticed higher-than-expected engagement in certain markets, so I suggested reallocating budgets to capitalize on these insights. I also conducted a mid-campaign review with the client to share progress and showcase upsell opportunities.
The results were outstanding: the campaign exceeded engagement KPIs by 35%, and the client extended their contract with TikTok, allocating a larger budget for future campaigns. This success also led to the campaign being used as a case study for other tourism clients, which felt like a great validation of our work."
Answer I will be using same answer and prepare and to help me remember the flow I will stick to answer using STAR method which simply means I will first say what the Situation, Task, Action, Result.
SITUATION: In Situation includes the Context, the goal
Context: Which organization and which client
Here: At TikTok Singapore, I managed a campaign for Indonesia Tourism
Goal: Share it is an awareness, engagement, conversion, leads goals etc
Here: It is to boost awareness and engagement across APAC during a key travel season
TASK: Task is more like goal but here you would want to emphasise the pain point more than a measurable goal.
Pain point here: The client had ambitious KPIs and was unsure if TikTok would resonate with their target demographic.
Action: Breakdown your actions into steps and usually the steps are more or less same. Include Collaboration, First execution step, mid-way execution step
Collaboration here: I collaborated closely with the creative team to develop culturally relevant content tailored to different APAC regions.
First Execution Step: Using TikTok’s advanced targeting tools, I recommended to optimize the campaign daily based on real-time analytics.
Mid-way Execution: Step 1 and 2
Step 1: Midway through, I noticed higher-than-expected engagement in certain markets, so I suggested reallocating budgets to capitalize on these insights.
Step 2: I also conducted a mid-campaign review with the client to share progress and showcase upsell opportunities.
Result: The results were outstanding: the campaign exceeded engagement KPIs by 35%, and the client extended their contract with TikTok, allocating a larger budget for future campaigns. This success also led to the campaign being used as a case study for other tourism clients, which felt like a great validation of our work."
In result: Again breakdown, First results against direct KPI, Second result, Third result if any
First result: Add what the actual result was against the KPI
Here: the campaign exceeded engagement KPIs by 35%
Second result: As a result of this what else happened
Here: the client extended their contract with TikTok, allocating a larger budget for future campaigns.
Third result: Any additional result it led to
Here: This success also led to the campaign being used as a case study for other tourism clients, which felt like a great validation of our work."
